Download and Install Cyanogenmod 12S in your Android Device

A very long wait has came to an end today! Cyanogenmod has officially released its latest OS CM12 to OnePlus One devices. Last Friday word arrived that certification was complete and the software could be expected “in the next few days” by Carl Pei and so as he said in twitter that CM12 is out, it rolled out to many devices including India and Malaysia.

Here comes the Downloading and Installing guide on Latest CM12s update maually on your OnePlus One device. This CM Rom comes with much faster UI, Less weight and ofcourse more features in it. This is the official ROM only for OnePlus One devices. As per Carl Pie, the rollout has already begun and if you can’t stop experiencing that ROM on your beast, then this guide will for sure help in getting updated with this latest CM. Here is the guide to download and install Cyanogenmod 12S in your device. This is very easy and simple process which takes only few minutes to flash.

NOTE:- Before installing this OS, do take the full backup of your phone and store in some safe place. After that read all the instruction very carefully and follow them step by step. We are not responsible if your phone bricks and if any mistakes crawl in for damage of your phone.

Step 1. Download the CM12S Android Lollipop Zip file for Oneplus one here and Don’t extract the folder.

Step 2. Move the downloaded ZIP file on the phone. You need to flash this file manually form the recovery mode.

Step 3. Turn of your Oneplus one and boot into recovery mode. To do this Press Volume Down + Power button.

Step 4. Now you are in the recovery mode. Wipe the following > (If you are on CM11S Wipe > Dalvik cache, Cache)
(if you are on Oxygen OS and CM12 nightlies = Wipe > Dalvik cache , Cache , system, data )

Step 5. After that Go back and start the flash process.

Step 6. Tap on install. And Locate the CM12S zip that you moved on you phone one Step 2 and Flash it.

Step 7. One the flashing process is done. Reboot to system.

Step 8. The first boot will take 5-6 minutes.
