Glassdoor Announces Winners Of Its Employees’ Choice Awards; Here are the 28 Best Tech Companies To Work For In 2018

The task of people looking to make a job change in this year will be made easy with this Glassdoor’s list. Like every year, career website Glassdoor released its annual report of “Employees’ Choice Awards, which features the 100 best places to work for in 2018 across the US. Out of the 100 best places, 28 companies fall in the technology domain. Because we cover technology here at All Tech Buzz, we listed out the top tech companies on the list.

Glassdoor is known to release ‘Employees’ Choice Awards’ every year, ranking the best places to work across North America and parts of Europe. Winners were determined based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback on their job, company, work environment, etc. Glassdoor feeds this data into its proprietary algorithm to determine the overall ranking. Ratings are based on a five-point scale, from 1.0 as very dissatisfied to 5.0 as very satisfied.

In this year’s list, which is Glassdoor’s 10th edition, the list is topped by Facebook. Seems like Facebook is consistently the best tech company to work for in the U.S. It was the top tech company in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and now 2018. Twitter was first for 2014, Google led for 2015, and Airbnb won for 2016. What’s interesting on this year’s list is – Neither Airbnb nor Twitter made the list this year. Google did, of course, Google has made the list all 10 years. Google and Apple are the only two tech companies that have appeared on the list all 10 years. Apple slipped 48 spots this year.
