5 Simple Steps to Markup and Send a Photo in iOS Messages

If you own an iPhone with iOS 11 in it then you must be aware of the fact that you can send photo within the built-in iMessage app. There are many features on the iPhone iOS 11 you are probably not aware of and the Markup feature and its usage in your iOS message app may be one of them. You can markup the pictures taken with your iPhone camera or the existing images in your gallery and send it right away to your friends on your contact list.

How to Markup Images in iMessgaes?

1.Open any chat conversation on your Messages app. Tap the tiny camera icon in the conversation.

2. A live preview of the camera and the images in your gallery appear at the bottom of the screen. Now select the camera or a picture from your photo library.

3. A fullscreen camera option appears on your iPhone screen if you have chosen the camera icon. Now click a picture.

4.You will be navigated to an editing screen with Markup, edit and retake the picture. Tap the Markup option.

5. iOS provides some simple and useful tools such as magnifying an area of an image, adding text and selecting colors. Now markup your picture with the required tools and then hit the save button and done.

In order to save the marked picture, you need to first send it and then save it to your gallery.
