Method – 4: Reset your browser to the Default Settings

Google Chrome:

Mozilla Firefox:

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and click the menu bar represented by three horizontal lines at the top right corner.
  • From the drop-down list, click on ‘?‘ (help).


  • From the Help menu, choose Troubleshooting Information.


If in case you are unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting information page.

  • Now, click on the ‘Refresh Firefox‘ button.


  • In the following step, a dialog box appears and click on the ‘Refresh Firefox‘.


  • Firefox will close itself and will revert to its default settings. When it’s done, a window will list the information that was imported. Click on the ‘Finish‘.

Internet Explorer:

  • Open the Internet Explorer, click on the ‘gear icon’ in the upper right corner, then click again on Internet Options.


  • A dialogue box is displayed and click on ‘Advanced‘.
  • Then, tap on ‘Reset‘ button and ‘OK‘.


  • In the ‘Reset Internet Explorer settings‘, select the ‘Delete personal settings‘ checkbox, then click on ‘Reset‘ button.


  • After the task is completed, click on ‘Close‘ button in the dialogue box.
