OnePlus to Launch Two Smartphones in 2015, Confirms GD Co-Founder Carl Pei

OnePlus One mobile popularly known as ‘2014 flagship killer‘ smartphone has enunciated that it would launch its successor OnePlus Two in the year 2015. Truly, OnePlus One was 2014 years surprise hit which was produced by the start up company of China OnePlus, and designed to do battle with Samsung’s Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8 and the Google Nexus 6, the OnePlus aimed to deliver high-end specs and a no-nonsense user experience for very little money. OnePlus executives named Carl Pei and David confirmed the smartphones successor release in a corporate meeting where they disclosed that OnePlus 2 smartphone can be expected to be launched in Q2 or Q3 of 2015 and is also likely to be smaller than the One smartphone. One Plus One co-founder and Global Director Carl Pei said their research and development team is focusing on a device that will be more about design than specs.

There has been a huge demand for the OnePlus One smart gadget in US and India which sold half a million OnePlus One smart mobiles till date where it initially expected that sales to between 30,000 and 50,000 units but by November 2014. Carl Pei, who grew up in Sweden and leads OnePlus 80-person international team said that “The Internet has made the world so flat, you can communicate with anyone, anywhere nowadays, I don’t think there is a reason to limit yourself anymore. If it’s a good product you should share it with the world.”

No Overstock of   OnePlus Two Smartphones?

Though OnePlus One 2014 flagship killer smartphones stock was limited since the company didn’t wish to have overstock of phones and thus the availability is limited. At the similar instance it had a special invite system which allows only the invited person to grab the smart mobile through the sales which was ascended with the an idea to gain good profits and to avoid overstocking of the OnePlus One smart mobiles if they were unable  to get sold. Revealing some of the secrets of the OnePlus Two Carl Pie aforesaid that “I think it’s going to be a phone catering to a different type of audience. Perhaps for those who appreciate design over specs. I think in every industry, the innovation has been about how to deliver a better product at a lower price. The smartphone industry will be the same.”

One Plus chief executive Carl Pie on being asked about the size of the One Plus Two  handset, as most of the One Plus One device users wished to have smaller device, he said that  “We’ve seen a lot of people asking for a smaller device and want to let everyone know that we hear you. We’re thinking about it.” There is still an uncertainty that does One Plus would come up with the wearable gadgets as most of its loyal users urged the company to launch a wearable device. Reportedly there has been confidential report that One Plus is hard at working on a wearable device and still there is a dubiousness if/when/how we’ll release it though.”

One Plus Two might not be similar to the prior smartphone when it is compared with the exterior look and the upcoming handset size. There are speculations that One Plus One may have a 5.5in display while the screen resolution is not ascertained yet.

Reportedly, OnePlus (2) Two would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip inside, alongside 32GB of onboard storage and a 3,100mAh battery cell. Added to this it would have a 5.5 inch touch display but there’s currently no word on a resolution which is believed to be enhanced and has a primary camera with 16MP and a 5MP front-facer for selfies and other cool stuff. The sales of the smartphone OnePlus Two would take place in the third quarter and would be based on its previous invite system. OnePlus development team is wondering to have a dedicated software team to help develop operating systems in-house so that OnePlus Two comes with a heavily skinned version of Android. There is no confirmation OnePlus will do away with CyanogenMod OS for the next handset but the company is definitely investigating the alternatives which have no plans to make a Windows phone.
