The Chinese mobile manufacturer, Vivo, has been known to push the boundaries when it comes to experimenting with new features and pioneering the same. Recently, the company was first to launch a smartphone with under-display fingerprint sensor at CES 2018. Now the company is all pumped up with its next high-end flagship “Vivo Xplay7” that will feature a massive 10GB RAM smartphone.
Reportedly, Vivo Xplay7 is also expected to feature 4K OLED display with 92.9% of screen-to-body ratio, Snapdragon 845 SoC, storage up to 512GB and an under-display fingerprint sensor. According to leaks, the smartphone will be available in two storage variants – 256GB and 512GB.
This device also includes the next generation of Vivo’s facial recognition technology, FaceUnlock 2.0, which makes the security even more stronger. The smartphone will also feature a dual rear camera setup with 4X optical zoom.
The mobile manufacturers have been pushing the bars high for the past years. This is the first ever smartphone to come up with RAM capacity in double digits. If this happens, Vivo Xplay7 will be the first-ever smartphone to be powered by 10GB RAM.
The pricing of Vivo Xplay7 has been not confirmed officially but it is rumoured that the starting price would be around $500 (Rs. 31,800). The device is expected to make its way into the market in the coming weeks.
