How to Install Analiti on Firestick

If you favor watching movies and show through online streaming rather than cable TV, then you most likely prefer watching high definition content through your TV screen. One of the best streaming devices on the market right now is the Amazon Firestick/Fire TV, which allows you to stream all kinds of media on your TV for an affordable price.

That being said, what’s the point of having a top-notch TV and a high-quality streaming device if you’re constantly encountering buffering and low-quality image? If you’re paying good money for high-speed internet but that’s not the output you’re receiving, you need to stay on top of it and troubleshoot the situation. After all, having a fast internet connection is key if you want to enjoy HD content.

One way you can check on how much your internet speeds are is by downloading a speed test app on your Firestick. One app we highly recommend is the Analiti Speed Test. It’s one of the most reliable speed test tools out there, especially for streaming devices.

It’s available to download on Fire OS and Android TV OS. The app was removed from Amazon’s Appstore in the past, but fortunately, it’s back there now. If you need assistance downloading and installing Analiti, check out our step-by-step guide below.

How to Install Analiti on Firestick

On your Firestick’s home screen, you’ll see a menu at the very top of the screen. The first on the list is the Search function. Simply head over to the magnifying glass icon to begin this quick and easy process.

Either type in the search keywords with the on-screen keyboard, or use Voice Search.

The first app to appear from the suggestions should be Analiti. Select Analiti Speed Test to be redirected to the app’s download page.

Once you’re on this screen, just tap the Download button. If you have never downloaded Analiti before, click on the Get button instead. Either way, the app will begin the downloading process.

There’s not much else to after that—you can go ahead and launch the app by clicking Open.

The Analiti logo will appear for a second before you’ll be directed to the app’s home screen. You can begin testing your internet speed using your Firestick device.

What Are Good Internet Speed Test Results?

According to Netflix, the recommended download speed for streaming 4K videos is at least 25 Mbps. However, if you’re willing to settle for HD content, you’ll only need at least 5-10 Mbps, while standard-definition or SD videos will only need 3 Mbps at the very least.

25 Mbps may seem like an easy download speed to achieve, especially if you subscribe to a much higher internet plan. However, you have to keep in mind that when you have multiple devices in your home connecting to the Wi-Fi, your internet download speed will be affected because it will try to accommodate all these devices at the same time.

Conclusion

If you want to ensure that you’re streaming a movie in 4K on your Firestick/Fire TV, then you may want to double check on the devices that’s connected to the internet simultaneously. You could even disconnect some other devices that aren’t currently in use to ensure that the internet connection isn’t being unnecessarily shared between devices.

If you find that your movie streaming experience is being hindered by buffering issues, then you may want to keep check on your internet speed. Fortunately, Analiti exists to help you with that.
