Apple launched 3 new phones iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus at its big Apple event that took place at Steve Jobs Theatre. iPhone X remains undoubtedly the star of the show but it comes with an overwhelming price of $999 which goes on sale November 3. It’s very expensive but iPhone X isn’t the first phone launched by Apple which is too pricey because all the iPhones are expensive and iPhone X is a little expensive than the other iPhones. Even the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are more expensive than their predecessors at $699 and $799 respectively. But the question is “Is the iPhone X worth the price?”.
Is iPhone X Worth $1000?
A phone is something that you use all day, a device you can count on which simplifies most of the things. So, you should buy a phone which is best for a price you can afford and you shouldn’t be hasty and thrifty when buying a phone.
Nowadays all the flagship models are expensive. As iPhone X is a flagship model of Apple, when compared to the other top-of-the-line smart phones iPhone X is similarly expensive. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 starts around $940-$960 with 64GB of storage capacity and the cost would be more for extended storage. iPhone X gives offers a wide range of features compared to other phones and it seems like it is reasonable to pay $999.
The screen of iPhone X makes a prominent change in the look of the phone. Apple has adopted the trend of bezel less design by minimizing the borders around the corners of the phone. So you get a larger screen when compared to iPhone 7 and 8.
Not only a larger screen, Apple has improved the screen quality with OLED tech. One of the reasons why the iPhone X is over priced is because its OLED screen was developed by Samsung and the screen is expensive. So, Apple has decided to make its own OLED screen in China and with this, you may expect a decrease of cost in iPhone X in the future.
Apple has introduced many cutting edge features in iPhone X which includes Face Id which is a secure 3D scanning system to unlock and authenticate the phone using facial recognition. With Machine learning, the Face ID can recognize and adapt to the physical changes in the appearance of a person over time. When it comes to operating system, iOS stands out among the other operating systems. With the iOS 11 and A11 Bionic chip, it gives faster and better user experience.
On an overall with the best OS, better battery life, alluring design and great camera it seems like iPhone X is worth $999.
