Are you looking to install the Slamious build onto your Kodi? If so, then this guide will save you the trouble of having to navigate the installation process alone. The Kodi app on its own is simple and straightforward, but it’s devoid of content. If you want to start streaming online using this software, then you’ll have to download buids or add-ons to make the most out of the app.
How To Install the Kodi Slamious Build
Open up Kodi and tap on the Settings icon.
Head over to the System page.
On the Add-ons tab, enable Unknown Sources by turning it on. Turning on this feature is important because it allows you to download and install third-party add-ons, which is how you’ll be installing the Slamious build.
When this warning appears, click Yes.
Return to the Settings and choose File manager.
Tap on Add source.
This prompt will appear. Click on <None>.
Using the on-screen keyboard, type in the URL http://slamiousbuilds.com/repo.
On the bottom area, type in any name you want to give to the media source. In our case, we simply named it “repo.”
Press back until you return to Settings page. This time, head over to the Add-ons section.
Click Install from zip file.
Select the name you gave your media source from the list.
Select the zip file named Slamious Repo.
Wait a few minutes for the repository to finish installing. You’ll know when it’s done when you see a banner notification on your screen.
This time, tap on Install from repository.
Select Slamious Repo.
Click Program add-ons.
Then, select Slamious Wizard.
You’ll be redirected to this Wizard. Click Install located on the bottom-right side of the screen.
Wait a bit again for it to finish installing.
Once done, this prompt detailing all the build’s new updates will appear. Simply dismiss it.
Choose which settings you want enabled then click Continue.
Select Build Menu.
A list of all your builds will appear. Naturally, select the Slamious 8 (v6.2) one.
Choose Standard Install.
When this prompt appears, agree by tapping on Yes, Install.
The Slamious build will begin downloading and installing into your Kodi. Wait a couple of minutes for this to finish.
You’ll then be asked if you want to install a theme. If yes, select Install Theme.
Choose which theme you want to go with. In our case, we chose the Blue Theme.
Wait for the theme to finish downloading.
Force Close Kodi in order for the build to be installed successfully.
The next time you launch Kodi, the interface should be completely different. Select Yes when this prompt appears.
Tap Yes again to adjust the build’s language and region settings.
Choose which language you want your Kodi build to have.
If you’re comfortable with the build tracking your geolocation, tap Yes. This will allow Kodi to know your location.
Click I Agree when this disclaimer appears.
And you’re done! Wait for all the add-ons to finish installing before streaming movies or shows. Afterward, you can go ahead and watch films to your heart’s content.
