Apple Will Launch 3 iPhone-X Like Designs in Early 2018

KGI Security analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo popularly known as the “The Most Accurate Apple Analyst in the World” has got another prediction to say about the future releases of Apple. According to his latest analysis, Apple will launch three new iPhone models in 2018 which features iPhone X-like design.

Kuo predicts that the company will launch two 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch models with OLED display and a 6.2-inch model with LCD display where the 5.8-inch model will have 458 pixels per inch which likely suggests that the second-generation iPhone X’s display will continue to include 1,125×2,436 resolution. And the 6.5-inch model will have an estimated 480 to 500 pixels per inch. However, the 6.1-inch model will likely have around 320 and 330 PPI.

He expects that all the three models will include an all-screen bezel-less design and a True Depth Camera like iPhone X and Apple will completely ditch the Touch ID in all those devices and embeds the Face ID system.

Not only that, according to his theory, the 6.1-inch model targets the low-end and mid-range markets with a lower-resolution LCD display. The estimated price range of this handset is going to be $649 to $749 in the United States. According to a report by the MacRumors, “The new TFT-LCD model will differ significantly from the OLED models in hardware and design specs” and the selling point of the device may depend on the user experience of an integrated full-screen design and 3D sensing with a lower price tag.

The price range of the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch models haven’t been predicted by Kuo yet. Coming to the release date of the devices, Kuo predicts that devices will be launched in early 2018 without any delays.

We have to wait how accurate the predictions of Kuo will be this time as most of his predictions about the features of iPhone X such as the 5.8-inch display, 3D sensing, no Touch ID, and etc were correct.
