Apple Releases iOS 9.0.2 to Fix iOS 9.0.1 Lock Screen Bug

Apple had finally released iOS 9.0.2 update to the iPad and iPhone software which is now available as a free update to download that helps to fix the bugs and improves the performance of the device. It is already known that Apple has released iOS 9 operating system in mid-September with a huge range of new updates that are capable of improving your iPad and iPhone experience. Later, it went through some issues as the phone gets hanged after installing iOS 9 OS on the iPhone or iPad. In order to fix that issue, Apple has released iOS 9.0.1 update which leads to another issue that allows hackers to access iPhone contacts and photos without unlocking the screen. No Security Issues with New iOS 9.0.2 Update

Apple has released a new update iOS 9.0.2 in order to fix the iOS 9.0.1 update that allows hackers to access photos and contacts of other iPhone users. The lock screen bypass flaw is a major security loophole that made numerous iPhone and iPad users vulnerable to the hack. The update was so dangerous that anyone could easily access other’s contacts and photos even without a lock passcode. Both iOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1 were susceptible and vulnerable to the security attack. Apple has now released another update so as to fix the issue of the lock screen, iMessage, Podcasts, iCloud Drive, and some other performance improvements. The new iOS 9.0.2 update is now available for download and Apple also ensured that the security issue is now no more.

Apple iOS 9.0.2 Update Addresses the following issues:

  • Fixes an issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage
  • Resolves an issue that prevented iMessage activation for some users
  • Resolves an issue where an iCloud Backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup
  • Fixes an issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications
  • Improves the stability of Podcasts

Similar to iOS 9.0.1, the latest iOS 9.0.2 is a minor update that completely focuses on bringing up a handful of bug fixes and some other performance enhancements to Apple’s newest operating system iOS 9. These bug fixes will certainly heal the lock screen flaw of iOS 9.0.1 update and eventually improves the performance of your iPhone or iPad.
