Display :

First look goes to the display, The Yureka has a 5.5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and 267 ppi. It has an oleophobic coating as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to stave off smudges and scratches. Slimmer mobile phones are easier to carry and look more fashionable. The screen was fairly legible in sunlight and though it isn’t perfectly crisp, it’s one of the better ones we’ve seen on such a low-priced phone. It is slim enough at 8.8 mm. Touch Displays offer a more interactive experience. The “moonstone grey” rear has an interesting texture.

And there is no single sign of micromax on the mobile, there is only YU symbol on the back side of the mobile. The packing was so simple which means Yu really doesn’t want to be associated with its parent company. 1. Expendable memory is very less only 32gb, it should be 128gb or atleast 64 gb.
Display should be full hd and bettery should be minimum 3000mah.

  2. At 9k, that’s probably the best smartphone till now. 1.5ghz snapdragon 615 octa core processor and a 2gb ddr3 ram make me forget about the less ppi and external sd card support of only 32gb and 2500 mah battery (but why worry about battery when you have a charger? 😛 )
After all, it’s just 9k and we already have a lot of nice things in it.

  3. We are talking about smartphones. Not Laptops or satellite notebooks. A smartphone featuring so many facilities and that too at such a low cost with all the possibilities for day to day activities on the go is commendable. People complaining un-necessarily about battery life, display, no compass, no front flash etc., *Gosh*, as if you are Bill Gates. You get charging points almost anywhere in-between travelling. (Trains and many Volvo buses have charging points. And if you are travelling for more than eight hours, and you expect calls and transferring documents over the internet, you should avoid movies, music and games. *Duh* that simple, or carry a lappy.) How many features are you going to use in a single day? A person who claims to be that important who does all his work on the mobile itself should be carrying laptop and a few other gadgets. I travel a lot. I use two smartphones and a laptop with spare batteries. They never get exhasuted even after 12 hours of travel. Stop complaining and make best use of things technology has to offer. Dont expect your smartphone to give you mouth to mouth respiration if you get a heart attack. Nuff Said.

  4. THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS PROXY SENSOR FAULT ITS IS BIG DRAW BACK ON THIS PHONE IF U MAKE CALL THE DISPLAY GETTING OFF IF U PLUG AN EAR PHONE THE TOUCH SENSOR IS NOT WORKING IT IS THE MAJOR ISSUE ON THE PHONE

  5. During incoming & Outgoing calls the screen display automatically off and not receiving calls.
