How To Promote YouTube Channel: Best Tips & Tricks (For 2019) – How To Promote YouTube Channel: Best Tips & Tricks (For 2019) – Knowing how to promote your channel can be critical to your YouTube Success. So, here in the starting, we’re putting in five ways on ALLTECHBUZZ that you can promote your YouTube channel so that you can get more views and subscribers.
Number 1: This is something that I am going to be pushing people hard on this year and its collaborations. Collaborating with other YouTubes regardless of the Channel Size can really be helpful for getting yourself out there. If you’re on 15 other channels, that’s 15 other channels that are promoting your content. All you have to do is take that first step to reach out to the other YouTubers that you want to collaborate with.

Number 2: SEO, also known as Search Engine Optimisation. One of the fastest ways to get your channel of the ground is the optimise your content for search. Here’s what you do – whatever niche you happen to be in, go upto the youtube search bar, start typing in a topic that you might want to make a video about. From there, Youtube is going to autosuggest things to you that people are looking for based around that topic.

Pick some of those phrases, make videos about those topics as a way to bring people into your content. Make sure that you’re optimising your titles, your tags and your descriptions with the phrase that you’re actually trying to rank for. Pretty much everybody has made videos about the YouTube SEO, but the bad part is that very few out of them rank well.

Number 3: is Social Media, I am talking about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat that you happen to have a following or that you happened to want to actually build a following. When on Facebook, make sure, you’re posting your content in the relevant groups. Make sure that you’re joining the communities there before you actually start posting your content. The worst thing you can possibly do is to join a Facebook Group and go in there and say “hey, this is my channel, this is the video you should check out or whatever” because nobody cares.

So, what you want to do is become an active participant in the community and then you’re more welcome to post your content and you’re going to be better received. And, make sure that the content you’re posting in there is actually relevant to the topic of the group as well. Personally, I don’t use Instagram that way, But I probably post stuff there. You can do some really creative stuff. I’ve seen a ton of different YouTubers that are creating really different videos that actually drive traffic to their YouTube Channel. But the last thing you want to do is turn your Instagram into a promotional page. The reason for that is who wants to follow a promotional page.

Where all you do is just posting thumbnails to new content that you are uploading. There’s nothing interesting going on there. Make your Instagram interesting first and then post your messages on there that you just uploaded new videos. Twitter is also another fantastic place to share your content if you don’t have a following there, start making tweets on a regular basis to actually grow your following there as well. Same with Instagram and anywhere else that you’re going to be promoting your YouTube Content.
Number 4: Comment on other videos and join in Live Streams. Now read, I am not saying to spam comments. Do not do that because you can get your account deleted for the repetitive posts and all that stuff. I am not saying to spam on Livestream, you do not want to do that either. What you want to do, you want to become just like I said on Facebook, as far as becoming active in the community, you want to do that on the YouTube channels that you like and enjoy.

And, by participating in the community, people will start recognising you and things like that. And, they are going to more likely to click on your name. And, go over and view your channel. And, as a side note, you don’t have to say, he comes in, check out my channel, this is my actual username and anything like that. If people like the comment that you are leaving, they are going to click on your username anyway. So, they can see what it is that you are upto. Spamming is bad. OKAY?
Number 5: You want to maximise the current traffic that’s coming into your channel as a means to promote your content. In a nutshell, basically what you want to do is that you want to make sure that you’re pinning your playlist. You want to make sure that you are using cards effectively. You want to make sure that you are using the YouTube featured video option inside of your Creator Studio and all of the other stuff that I talk about. You want to create videos on YouTube, if you don’t have any ad budget and you don’t have a social following, you’re probably not going to have any subscribers. If you have no subscribers, who are going to watch your videos. If you have not money, you have no subscribers, they are going be hard and you are not going to get the results.

SPECIAL TIP 1: So the first special tip I have for you is to take your YouTube videos, that you’ve created, and promote them outside of YouTube. So, here’s the first strategy that we do. We go and we take our YouTube videos, we hit up all the bloggers who write articles similar to the concepts that we’re teaching in our YouTube videos and we ask them to embed that video within that blog post. And, when we ask them to embed that video within their blog post what we found is it helps us get more views to our YouTube videos, it sends more positive signals to YouTube, and in general, our rankings start performing better.

SPECIAL TIP 2: YouTube is very competitive, especially in the English Language, it’s not that hard to get views. So, you make sure you translate your videos and transcribe, into different languages. For example, this video here is in English, but my team uploads the video with subtitles in Portuguese on YouTube. They do the same with Spanish, German, and tons of other languages. By doing that we are not only getting views in English, but we’re then getting views in all these other languages. And, as I mentioned, even if you have no subscribers, I don’t really have a ton of subscribers in a lot of regions that don’t speak English. But year, a lot of these regions are growing in my popularity when I look at my YouTube stats. Just because we are translating all our videos by subtitles, to all these different countries.

SPECIAL TIP 3: The third special tip I have for you is to leverage your existing audience. So let’s say you have a website or blog and you have an email list. If you create a YouTube video, that you know people will love, You will do an email blast from your email list to that YouTube video. It helps to get tons more views, engagement, and of course, more subscribers on YouTube starts ranking higher. I do the same with my push notifications subscribers list. So, for example, I use subscriers.com to generate more push notifications subscribers. When you release a YouTube video, that I know that you would like to watch. I then send out a push notification, so I can get way more views. YouTube’s looking at a lot of signals and a lot of them are external because if all these external signals show YouTube that hey, people love this content, it’s going to perform better on YouTube as well.

SPECIAL TIP 4: And the last tip I have for you, is if you have search traffic going to your website look at your most popular post. You can see these within your Google Search Console or Google Analytics. Look at the most popular pages. See which videos you have that are the most relevant to that YouTube clip or video that you created. and embed that video into your blog post. I will help your videos get consistent views. In addition to that, what you will find is it will also keep people on your website longer, which will also help improve your ranking. So, it’s kind of win, win, not only are you getting more YouTube view but people are staying on your site longer. Which helps improve your user metrics which further improves your overall rankings in Google.
